He studied Art History and Theory at the University of Chile, Chile, and a M.A. in Cinema Studies at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, New York, USA.

He also attended Robert McKee's Story Seminar in Chile (2009), and Syd Field's script writing class at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, USA.
